Vincent Calabrese a voulu synthétiser d’une façon abstraite l’esprit de cette horlogerie et il a créé un modèle illustrant parfaitement cette philosophie en y consacrant forcément le nom "Esprit". Ce mouvement comporte deux bras qui partent de points opposés. L’un porteur du barillet, soit l’énergie, dans ce cas créative, représente l’Art. L’autre porteur de l’échappement, soit la précision, représente la Technique... Ils se dirigent dans la même direction et devraient se réunir au centre du mouvement où les aiguilles de la montre représentent l’instant actuel. L’Art et la Technique ne pouvant jamais se rencontrer dans le présent, ils s’éloignent l’un de l’autre vers l’infini, sauf dans les œuvres de Vincent Calabrese où la symbiose est à chaque fois réussie.

Vincent Calabrese wanted, to synthesize the essence of his philosophy of art in an abstract way and created a model illustrating his "Spirit". The watch involves two arms that start at opposing points: one which carries the barrel – the energy, the creative, the ART.  The other carries the escapement – the precision, the TECHNIQUE.  The arms move in the same direction, where the hands of the watch represent the actual instant of time.  However, Art & Technique can never meet in the present, they move away from each other towards infinity.  In 18 K gold or platinum entirely, so also the movement.
